Silent Auction Services, Inc.

Jodi Marine is our Development Manager. In this role she works with our clients before, during and after their events to make sure everything happens exactly like they want it to. Jodi joined the team in early 2010 as Sales Coordinator and was promoted at the end of 2010 to her current position.

A native of South Africa, Jodi has called Houston home for 19 years and attended Bellaire High School. Jodi has a background in dance and theater and has worked with JCC and the Main Street Theater. She attended the University of Arizona Tucson, majoring in broadcast journalism and minoring in foreign languages. She is TEFL certified and spent a year abroad teaching English in Europe. While at UA, Jodi worked as a news anchor and general assignments reporter for University of Arizona Television.

Prior to coming to work at SAS, Jodi was working for Houston NBC affiliate KPRC as an assignment editor. About her recent career shift Jodi says, "Working with Silent Auction Services is exciting and different from what I was used to doing. I am looking forward to meeting new people and planning silent auctions. I enjoy having the ability to work with non-profit organizations because they are a crucial part of our society today and I want to be a part of their effort in raising money for a charitable cause.”
